Sturgis Rally 2008

This mid-summer convention of two-wheelers has been going on since the Jackpine Gypsies Motorcycle Club started it in 1938. The first rally was focused on racing and stunts. Now? Not so much, if you believe the stories seasoned Sturgis-goers tell. The most recent attendance figures reached 525,000, which is something given all of South Dakota’s population totals 754,000.
